Guess how many years old this olive tree is? Mariah's guess is 500 years old!
Amazing break of day!

Gorgeous vistas before us!

Beautiful and uniquely stone crafted storage house for various tools and grains etc during wet/snowy weather conditions
A Cappucino with the local Pilgrims in Najera
Mariah at the historical gateway to Najera
Beautifully preserved historical downtown of Najera.  Very old original wall of the City of Najera.

Fall is falling here in Spain! Outcropping of trees in the vineyard.

Our Albergue for tonight in Azofra

Above .... A beautiful rainbow over the distant mountain range helped me celebrate my Irish Mama's Birthday today. I know her Irish eyes are a smilin' down on me from the heavens as she always loved an adventure!... and the Camino is her kind of adventure in many ways! Happy Birthday Mom! Love,Mary

  1. What a beautiful picture to see on Mom's birthday. I see her smile in that rainbow as she is smiling on her Mary on her latest adventure!

    Love you, Jane
